Project A: ARCADIA -- Imagine a living and working environment that includes the best amenities of the New World, but is set in the image of Old World upscale townhouse ‘condominiums’ on elegant boulevards, with nearby pedestrian amenities and offices close to piazzas and surrounded by the architecture of Medieval, Renaissance and Neo-Classical Europe!

Not only can you live and work taking advantage of the latest high tech connectivity of 21st century technology, but you will feel like you are experiencing the day to day joy of open air cafes, fresh markets, beautiful fountains and parks, and the cultural events that can only make such a picture complete.

Most of New Urbanism style ‘New Towns’ of the last 15 years are based on US models, a sort of second or third generation hodge podge of suburbia and pastiche downtown models that have no real life to them.  At best these communities offer just a slight shift from the status quo.  Many are successful nonetheless, but in the current real estate environment a major project of this type needs to be set up with the least risk possible.

Are New Towns economically viable?  Yes, by all current statistics these developments are typically bought out at a very good rate.  Can they be designed to be more profitable?  Yes, and this is where the expertise and background of the founders of EURODESIGN VENTURE PARTNERS, LLC. come into play.

We are not interested in creating another look alike New Town as promulgated by current New Urbanist theories.  We believe in salient elements of Old Urbanism and the inclusion of important key elements from the New that make the Old World and regional design that matches local culture so endearing to anyone who visits – which can be factored into a rich living environment sought after by all ages and supported by business, medical, technical and artistic commerce.

Essentially the soul of the (European) city is missing from all of the experiments in the ground today.  But if you look to the models from ancient Greece through the Medieval period, the Renaissance and the Neo-Classical period up to the turn of the century, then you will find your answer.

Those special memorable towns in Europe that feel so good to us are viable because of several aesthetic and cultural components that are sorely lacking in stateside models.  EURODESIGN VENTURE PARTNERS, LLC. believe that by adding in the missing key ‘ingredients’ the perfect town or city can be created for higher profitability as the popularity and success for homeownership and general business will be multiplied.

Arcadia will be our first venture combining the generic elements of the Old World with modern living amenities for a Living City: healthful, self sustaining, dense in features, culturally rich, artistically and spiritually inspiring!
